so sayeth the winner of contest #9:

So in the interest of getting more participation for the next contest, I will offer a "suggested" theme only, as that sometimes helps people get their creative juices flowing, but the actual entries can once again be anything at all. The theme I am suggesting for this round, for those who want to incorporate it, is COLLAGE. Obviously an important aspect to the art discussed on this forum. Traditional, digital, whatever. But for those who want to showcase / enter something else completely, go for it!

I will be providing an original piece of my own (on wood) for the winner, which I doing just for this contest prize, and will put up pictures of it in progress during the contest.

I had a really tough time with making up a graffiti piece... but collage type stuff is more up my alley, along with a lot of other artists here (from what I've seen). If Ernesto sees this topic and enters, I'll probably politely bow out

BUMP,BUMP BUMP!! LETS GET SOME GOOD ENTRIES THIS GO AROUND... just finished cutting a stencil...note to self...do not use strathmore illustration board...very hard to cut through, hopefully it holds up for multiple sprays...

IT WAS A KILLER...THANK GOD I DIDNT GO OVER BOARD WITH THE DETAILS LIKE I USUALLY DO...THE OTHER LAYERS GONNA GET DIFFERENT MATERIAL FOR SURE OR I MIGHT HAND IMBELLISH THE MINOR DETAILS..THIS WAS A FUN PROJECT SO FAR...COLLAGE BACKGROUNDS DONE AND THE MAJOR STENCIL,,GOT SOME CANDY APPLE RED PAINT AND SOME FLAT BLACK AND METALLIC GOLD SPRAY AS WELL..THINK ILL DO PROCESS PICS FOR THIS ONE...I PRAY THE STENCIL DONT BLEED THROUGH FOR ONCE
