I was gonna stick around to try to bid on one of the tables because they were so low, was thinking if I could have gotten one for 1500 that would have been a steal. The Kinsey didn't have any bidders, starting bid was 6k. There was a cool Tim Biskup piece that was hovering around 500. Someone swooped the craola up before the bidding ended probably 300 bucks.

Thanks for the info and excellent photos.
Re: Sea Shepherd
That Monkey Pod bench is sweet! You'd think the bidder would just do the BIN, unless things were really slow.vanilla_gorilla wrote:I didn't stay till the final bidding but the last bid I saw for the bench was 2500 and the tables were around 1100. All of them had a buy it now option that was 3k.
On the coffee table, I get OBEY NYC and LA, but can somebody explain San Fran & London?

Re: Sea Shepherd
I was bidding on the Monkey Pod Bench but stopped when it hit 2500.00. I think there was a live bid after the auction for one of the tables because multiple people were interested.
The Soto went for 2500.00 after a live bid and the Kinsey for sure had a bid of the starting 5k price, I think the Shepard Fine art piece went for 7k at least that was the last bid I saw with minutes left to go.

Wow - even worse than expected. Would have been better as offset of the fine art with the collaged elements.

There is one framed Shepard Fairey piece left for sale from the show.
Of course it is Cost of Oil.

+1 except for the fact that it would have been better to not do one altogether (screenprint or offset).gpt104 wrote:Wow - even worse than expected. Would have been better as offset of the fine art with the collaged elements.
