These are like what I have used. I've purchased them from the framer in a glass shop. She sold them too me for less than this site is selling them and I didn't have to buy 20 at once.

Mine fit in the portfolio, but not in the frame. This was true for the Arctic print as well. The portfolio sleeves are a little larger than 18x24

Never had any trouble fitting prints into my portfolio (Itoya) - prefab frames are a different story though. The portfolio was a great purchase, super cheap, acid-free, holds tons of prints... for the price you can't beat it.

i say no at $1,600 because there are much better large formats to be hard for less... but then again, what people pay for MBW prints surprises me so who knows.
