Need help identifying this Shepard Fairey print...

Post by CityandColour »

One of my homies invited me over to his casa tonite to show me this Shepard Fairey print that he recently discovered in his closet that's he had for quite sometime.

Image

I thought I knew quite a bit about Shepard Fairey but I have not see this print before. My friend said he got this at Paint Louis (a graffiti event held in St. Louis in the late 90s/early 2000s). It was at an event organized by Roger Gastman for While You Were Sleeping. This poster was actually taken off the wall from the actual event. It's not the world's greatest shape but the fact it exists is still impressive.

Can anyone provide any information or details about this print? Any information such as the year made, the size run, or value would certainly be appreciated.

This is a silkscreen poster. The quality of the image is still quite good. The biggest flaw is that this poster was originally taped on the wall with clear tape. As you can see from the photo, it goes all the way around the entire poster. There is still enough room to frame out most of the damage though.

Any idea of what's it worth?
