Each one is screened and then hand painted making each one unique. They aren't just screenprints...sabeth wrote:100 editions of 1, haha! no wonder they're not selling, what a cheap trick.halopigg wrote:New prints are up now at POW, they are runs of 1. If I had $600 laying around I'd scoop!
The reason why they're not selling is because of the price tag. I absolutely love lister, one of my favorite artists, but selling 100 prints at $600 each is a tall order for someone whose art doesn't have a broad mass appeal. It's still a lot of money even for someone who's a fan like myself. Papermonster is having a heck of a time selling a print of his that was released a while ago for $600 and the POW distortion field can only sell so many prints.
You can get one of his fine art hand painted masks for less or a small painting of his for a little more. There's just a very small market for high priced lister prints.
