I finally got this bad boy framed and hanging. It is so amazing in person. The guy at the frame shop had to pick his jaw up off of the floor when I told him it was done with spray paint and stencils! Love it!

Finally got Vintage Spray framed up! My youngest daughter really loves this one. The electric blue wasn't my first choice for matboard but it's what I ended up with. I'm digging it now.

New Prints!!!
The latest batch of prints. All are available in the online store at IansPrints.com.

Crushed Good & Plenty - 10"x8" - Edition of 25
http://www.iansprints.com/goodnplenty.php
Image
I ate a box of Good & Plenty recently and crushed up the box when I was done. It looked cool sitting on the table crushed up so I took a picture which this print was created from. Created with 8 hand cut stencils and spraypaint.

Sunshine - 11"x14" - Edition of 25
http://www.iansprints.com/sunshine.php
Image
When our first daughter Sloane was born I created the CO Animal Triptych for her. Recently we had our second daughter Juliet and I wanted to create something special for her. My wife suggested the phrase, "You are my Sunshine" which I really like. So this is what I came up with. Prints measure 11"x14" and were created using 8 hand cut stencils and spraypaint. There is some slight variation in the edition due to the hand stenciling process.

Sunrise - 10"x30" - Edition of 20
http://www.iansprints.com/sunrise.php
Image
After I created the Sunshine print I was thinking it would work well as an art print without text. I decided to change the dimensions of the print to tall and skinny. Each print in the edition of 20 are slightly different and unique. The mountain shapes in each print will differ from print to print.

Sunrise Oilboard Variant - 10"x30" - Edition of 1

Sunrise Gunmetal Variant 1 - 10"x30" - Edition of 1

Thanks and Happy Holidays. :)

Happy Earth Day!!

I am happy to announce that I am releasing my 7th annual Earth Day Tree print today. This year the tree measures 24"x18" on stonehenge artist paper with a deckled bottom edge. Each print is hand made using stencils and spraypaint. The sky colors in the art are custom and up to you. You are welcome to choose from one of my examples or come up with your own sky colors. Earth Day Tree prints are limited to 30 signed / numbered prints and cost $50 shipped anywhere. Prints will be available at 10am MST at the IansPrints.com online store (http://iansprints.com/available-art.php).

For those of you wondering what I have been up to... I have been spending most of my time as a full time Dad for my 2 little girls (4 and 1 yrs). On the creative side I have stenciled a bunch of custom pet portraits (http://iansprints.com/pets.php) and also have been doing some custom art framing (https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/1120 ... 9412036609). More limited edition art prints are on the horizon. Stay Tuned. Thanks!
