Alright seemed like a general consensus to get rid of divisions. Everyone has accepted the invites and the league is set. General draft day vote is up. This will stay open until Saturday night. Then we'll use the poll results to vote on an actual date. Logistically the week before the season starts will be the best time, so going from past years results It'll prob be either on the Sunday before the nfl or the Tues/Wednesday before it starts.

Please vote!

Also I'm sending the league an email stating this and also asking for payments. My paypal addy will be in the email. Please send as a friends/family option(to avoid PP fees) as they've renamed that part of the payments and I don't think it's called "gift" anymore. If I don't get your payment by week one your waiver claims will be rejected until you pay.

Thanks everyone and lets have a good season. No whiners!

Highly doubt it will pass. Based on early results I'm gonna say the draft will be on Wednesday the 28th or Tues/Weds of Sept.

Nope! No extra fees. It's hard enough to get people to pay on time, but to be fair I've never had a problem with more than one or two serial non-payers(each had a team name that identified them as hardcore stoners, so yeah). They're not in the league this year.

Also got it EC. You're good to go. So far happy with 3 of 8 paying on the first day.

I'm gonna reach out to skoola to see if he wants to create a trophy/belt for us. If not I'm just gonna look around here in Austin.

I've got both of your payments! Thx dudes! Getting a nice percentage of people paid up in the league. I will close the voting on the general draft date tonight and open up the poll for the exact date.

Looks like it's going to be a weekday night.

Man that reminds me. Whatever happened to Skoola? Those were some awesome trophies he made. I can PM and see if we can pay him to make a trophy for the league this year. We should have the cash to do it real nice. Thoughts?

It'll be on Tuesday night at 6:30. Log into the league page and it'll show a link for the draft. The draft will open in a seperate window. You have 90 seconds per pick.

To help us plan our drafts, the commish is drawing the draft order on skype this Sunday (he sent this out in an email).

If you still want to go Vegas, feel free. Just bring a web enabled device and have a connection!

My 2 cents on the length of time: 192 total picks x 90 seconds = 4.8 hours

People won't need the whole 90 seconds for every pick but still, it can take a long time.

It would be fine if we were all slammin' drinks in a dank casino though!

90 seconds per pick is my fave as well. I usually make a pick in less then 30, but when the guy right before you picks your guy sometimes you need more time. 120 seconds is too long....

I've had pick 8 and 10 so far this year so 9 makes sense. Also just wanna put it out there that I am paid and I fall into the category of the typically non-paid if you know what I am talking about....

Okay three non payers are getting called out.

1. Spagucci
2. BackPackPunk
3. PeacePig

If you don't pay by the draft I will cancel all your pickups that you make. Please pay and make my life easier. I really don't want to have to do this as it's a major pain in the @ss. I'm kinda getting frustrated that so many people haven't paid yet. I do this on my own time and it's a d!ck move to pull this bs. Thanks!!

Maybe next time the first 12 to pay get in, and the loafers get left behind.
