round about 45 minutes. Some people saw it on the page 15 minutes before the rest of us, so maybe an hour.

i am pretty sure there has only been the paypal email on recent orders. Then you get a shipping notice or a refund within a few days from obey.

I'm going to Flipperville. I'm over what happened. Wasted a ton of time and effort.

Guess that's karma for my OG delivery today.

What you got next week OG? How about another Japanese Woman print?

Cannot comment as I actually ordered Peace Elephant cause I like Shepard Fairey's art...and intend to keep it.

I'm bummed I missed this at face value... I don't think I'll be able to pursue it anymore. I really dig the deck and I can still buy one of them! ...oh, and I got Dan McCarthy's new print, so I can't complain too much. But I did spend something like 16 hours (minus about 5 for sleepy time) on this drop, I stayed up until 3AM Central waiting for a Midnight to 1AM drop, then went to bed

NO MORE RANDOM DROPS!!!!

I hope who ever thought that random drops would help them score a print hope you learned your lesson. It seem as if there were the same if not more people on line. And whats with some people seeing it before others, my buddy was seeing it like ten minutes before me. All that waiting just to have the same experience, weather you got one or not. There still seems to be the same amount of flipper's also..

Congrats to all who scored a print..

Bring on the elephant variant..

thanks for your commentary even though you said you "cannot comment" apparently you can. ill keep it in mind next time im sitting at my computer for 10 hours and i dont get a print, thats only happened to me for hope, peace bombers, p/i woman, yen pattern, DOH 1/3/4, cold chillin, lotus, and god knows how many others. i tried to get the emek print and failed. i tried to get the obey print and succeeded. if i wanted to i could sell the obey print, buy the emek print and still have money left over but i dont flip like that. i finally get one print that is sought after and figured i'd attempt a trade at something that i want just as much.

PS my elephant is now for sale for $5,000.00 so i can buy Andre Warhol.

Are the prices of Obey Elephant going to drop? I say yes, then they will level off after a couple of weeks when all orders have been recieved.

Emek's pieces won't hold value like shep's. although, since it's plastic, it'll never get damaged corners or edges. Still, it's THE elephant. you can't let it go.

Wait for an emek to pop up down the line... it won't be too unreachable.

What I meant was that I cannot comment on the secondary market value of Emek's (or Shepard's) art, presently or in the future.

I'll always comment on people who talk about trading/selling pieces that they procured mere hours beforehand. I find this sort of speculative banter more appropriate for EB.

Further commentary, to include such dialogue in this thread is also tacky, considering the numerous collectors who actually wanted a Peace Elephant, but who got nothing.

would love to post in EB not here but they locked their forum.

not to mention who said anything about not actually wanting this print. it's not the end all be all of prints but i still wanted/want it. if i just had cash lying around i wouldnt even consider trading it, i'd just buy the emek but times is hard for ppl that struggle with spending too much money on art without flipping it on the side.

LOCKED the forum? Sweet 8 pound 6 ounce baby jesus, that's the best news I've heard all week! Although sometimes their bickering provides hours of sophomoric comedy.

Amen brotha.

The only thing I've sold this year was my Dilla, for cost. I didn't even want it, I just happened to be on when it dropped and I picked it up knowing a forum member would probably want it. Everything else I buy, I hold. Can't have empty flat files!
