I really don't think their email even has a chance of getting to us. They're probably going to send 1000+ emails loaded with pictures just to tell us the print might be going up.bdavenport wrote:I don't even need the picture. Just a place that says "If you want the Obey set click here"

How did you know about my print drop chicken ritual? The rubber pants aren't part of it. I wear those all the time just for convenience.whyhoo wrote:as long as you're wearing your rubber pants and have a live chicken handy, you should be good. Good luck to those willing (and able) to stick around today. I look forward to reading about how it goes ...or coming back in a bit over a week to see that it still hasn't dropped.
Seems their page is struggling to get up, but eventually does and looks like it did before "ducks-gate".

Yeah, but if you don't make adequate preparations you are essentially planning for things to go badly. I'm very curious as to what the advice was for expected server traffic and why anyone thought not having a dedicated server would work based on past experience.bdavenport wrote:Its not like people plan for things to go badly.

it's not like there aren't extremely easily accessible resources.

That sucks. I am reading a little though this thread and see the frustration. On principle, they should discount the drop to show good faith.fribhey wrote:Nosubmethod wrote:22 pages in on this thread and my question is, "Did these prints ever drop?"

Re: Poster Child Prints x OBEY x Peace Series Prints
Exactly. I dunno why they had to rebuild the whole site instead of just doing this. Olly Moss dropped his print set yesterday the SAME way(paypal link) and yeah while there were a few refunds it still went down in a few minutes. That was a way more hyped release also.MrMurk wrote:All we need is a paypal button with an image of the prints above it. Making sure your whole website with tons of pics and dynamic content are up and running before you drop a a product that will sell out in minutes is not necessary. The latest saber print release is a good example of this.

I'm convinced they have no clue what they're doing and the site is going to crash and burn again today.DunDun wrote:Exactly. I dunno why they had to rebuild the whole site instead of just doing this.
