Thanks Dorse,
The course is here:

http://www.arts-inst-bournemouth.ac.uk/ ... kshop.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Probably no good unless you live near Bournemouth like i do.
I should have more to show next week.
Thanks.

Went to screenprinting class again tonight, just practising still (as you can see from the scale and placement on the paper :) ), getting coverage etc, using different size mesh on screen and different acrylic/medium combinations. Here iv used the dragon mask that i have stencil and sprayed previously in this thread. Im hopeing to do a print of this eventually with more added to it and some kind of background.

Got the others back from the drying rack from last week.

Awesome, everything's looking very nice! I can't wait to see how you go about making the dragon into a print, I love that image as is, but if you add to it, I'm sure it'll be a real stunner!

I've been doing abit at college and we did some backgrounds just using primary colour paints rolling them on etc... gives some nice effects... then when dry... screen print onto them... just different to plain normal white background!

Yeah thanks Pat, it's a tough one for sure. I was thinking about doing a few large scale, one colour just Black on white, then a few with colour and a tonal background. Il see how it goes. :)

Yeah there is so much you can do, it's just about getting experimental for me at this stage and trying to learn from my mistakes as well as playing around with new ideas.

Just a little update, i messed around with this image so it would work on a dark background without going negative. I finished this test print today. This is a two colour, hand pulled (by me :) ) screenprint with metalic gold ink.
This is on bad quality paper as was the one before (the black and white) a little wavy as it's still drying. So hopefully within the next week or two il have 2 editions, one b+w and one gold on black, il increase the scale of the image and il put it on nice paper too.
Thanks for looking. :)

Thanks neverquiet, got my final design screens exposed last night, as the test prints i have done of this image are on quite small screens. So i bought my own BIG screens for the edition il be doing. It's gonna be on 760mmx560mm Somerset 300gsm paper, same size as the Banksy Nola print. I didnt want to do it any smaller as i feel this image works better on a slightly larger scale.
