"Both books feature stunning covers by Shepard Fairey - if you're going to grab people, get them by the short and curlies. But don't let either cover art or blurbs distract you from the words within."

Thanks for the link. Amongst other places, this is exactly where Shepard Fairey belongs!

bible gig?

great use of the big brother image for 1984. an obvious choice, but also a great illustration (from an underrated print).

Wow that is amazing. These books are great classics and now shepard's work will be a part of them forever. Even he himself has got to be blown away by that a little bit. It's a major achievement and well deserved honor. Kudos to him for helping inspire kids to get out and read these awesome books.

I wonder if Penguin asked Shep or if he inquired to do these. Either way... awesome.

Doesn't the Animal Farm cover remind you a little of the "This is Your God" Spider Pig created by one of members while we were waiting for the print to drop?

I haven't either, I've heard good things always, though... which one is better of the pair (which order do people who've read them both think I should read them, or doesn't it matter?) I think this is the push I needed ;)
