Signed/Numbered Screen Prints will be available as well as unsigned lithographs and other items.
Shepard Fairey will finalize one remaining detail of the newest ADOPT image by adding the date of the historic Presidential pet adoption to the dog's tag, making the print a distinctive piece of Presidential pet adoption history.

wanted the original but had to pass because of the price. Landed a real job so I have some money. Isn't $150 tax deductible anyways?

Right you are, receipt with print says $150 of price is deductible.

I think they just said on CNN that they got the dog from a breeder that they met through Ted Kennedy, which is makes this print some what odd.

Just wondering why that makes this odd -- he has a couple water dogs after all, which are often hanging around the capitol...

Read somewhere that the dog they're getting is a reject. It was returned to the breeder by the original owner, so it's damaged goods...maybe that makes it an adoption? Too old to be saleable now?

That was my understanding as well -- that they were getting a 'rescue' dog. Not a true shelter adoptee, but not a wicked expensive purebred either -- and still hypoallergenic...
I'll stick to my catahoula...

Did you not believe me? Like I said a few post above you, the dog will be oficially introduced on Tuesday. It seems like this dog really interests you, so here is a link and you can follow all the action and news on the first dog:

How LAME is it that the dog is coming from the Edward Kennedy. The worst thing is that will ramp up all the puppy mills to breed PWDs so people can have the Pres's dog. "I wanna be jus' lak da presdent."
