Stalin Lenin
I picked this one up on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/STALIN-LENIN-BA ... true&rt=nc
It is on poster paper (much like Tokion Suit). The printing is clean, the size is correct and it is definitely not new. It does not look like a copy to me, but is likely a paster.
Any opinions?
Thanks!

Re: Stalin Lenin
When I ran across that listing I thought it was an unsigned AP of the offset. The wiki says legitimate pasters exist.

Re: Stalin Lenin
Was the offset on thin paper?
I had seen a paster of this a while ago (maybe '09) on here that was legit. He had this one and the Andre with Giant below.

Re: Stalin Lenin
I vaguely remember seeing it pasted up as background, and if it wasn't... this image is so killer it should have made it into a paster,
Re: Stalin Lenin
If I remember correctly, the other ones I've seen on eBay that were from the signed edition of 300 said they were on thick stock. Here is one of the listings:

Re: Stalin Lenin
I found out who had the pasters and showed him this discussion. Hopefully he posts.
If it is thick, then this is definitely not the offset stock!

Good to know.jonathancol wrote:I found out who had the pasters and showed him this discussion. Hopefully he posts.

Re: Stalin Lenin
I have owned both versions. The thick stock was signed and numbered, and the paster was just signed. I was always under the impression that the pasters were the real deal and used for street work. I think a few of them were handed out and signed at different times. I gave it to a roommate years ago so it is not in hand

Yep in 09' these walked into my gallery by my friend Davey asking if I could get him some Obama money, had this tube postmarked 01 from Shepard and sandiegojonathancol wrote:Was the offset on thin paper?

All had edge damage from being shipped and stored rolled by themselves 3/3
So the vote is pasters thin and satin for Lenin/stalin
Glad to help

Re: Stalin Lenin
I can verify that I saw many of these pasters back in the day. My brother was an RA in college and one of the kids in his area was on the street team. He had a stack of these laying on his bed.

I apologize for Stalin on the reply as I never mind Lenin a hand.jonathancol wrote:Thanks! So this one is legit!
I have both the thin (with a little edge damage like Ajax pointed out) and a thick signed one. Yours looks legit. Nice score, enjoy!
