Any of em remind anyone of Shep?

They soldout yesterday. I actually picked up the King Rip, which looks strikingly similar to Bones Ripper! I will post picks once it gets here.

Did they have live inventory? Any word on refunds? I ordered two of them, but pretty long after the info had been posted on banksy.info. Figured I'd probably end up with a refund....

They didn't have a live inventory. I ordered mine yesterday and received the shipping confirmation/info last night. Hope that helps and hope you get yours.

Thanks for the info! I think I'm SOL. Word is they've been calling people who ordered last night and trying to raise the price on them to 50 gbp.

Something like that. I'd probably still order them at that price, but haven't heard a word so I'm assuming I may have completely missed them.

So, i got the email from Kates Skates. Here is what it said:

"Just a quick mail regarding your order. Firstly congratulations! Your order has been successful. However as you will be aware there has been an overwhelming demand for these decks. Although our initial stock of 48 decks was priced at £36.00 the price of subsequent decks has been increased to £50.00. this is due to an increase of the price by our wholesalers. Please confirm that you wish to proceed with the order so that we can despatch the order as soon as possible.
Regards, "

And here is my response:

"Hi ---. I am not happy with the price increase. If something is advertised at a price, I believe the seller has the obligation to sell it for that amount. I am not a student of economics or advertising, but I believe they call it truth in advertising. That said, I do not wish to purchase the D*face deck at the increased mark up, nor will I consider purchasing products from your company in the future. Please return my money.

Matt"

SO I guess there will be one more deck available for whoever wants it.

Way to stand up for your beliefs! I agree with you fully, but I will be buying them at 50 GBP if I have the chance anyhow. :)

I was actually going to buy one of those decks yestereday, but when I saw the $60 shipping cost, I passed. Now they want more money per deck? Outrageous I tell ya! Total bait and switch.

Apparently it was D*Face himself that called for the price hike

personally i'd give the online store the benefit of the doubt if they don't have live inventory and have never sold anything with such a demand before. i find it hard to believe that they would intentionally "oversell" and then jack up the price on purpose just to get a few extra bucks. (that's not to say I wouldn't be annoyed if this happened to me)
... or maybe i'm just gullible

I have a pair of limited edition promo boards coming out with 5boro in NYC to celebrate the upcoming release of 'Deathbowl to Downtown: The Evolution of Skateboarding in New York City'. Not sure how many are being made or when or how they will be available, but there will also be a limited screenprint and a 'mass media' offset print as well. The film premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival on May 8th.

Digital mock up...nose to tail prints on each board, metallic silver ink.

Seems like this thread is the best place to post this.

I took these photos with the iPhone a few weeks back at the ASR show in San Diego.

A few nice decks and Steve Caballero doing a painting for the Give Love Back charity art auction.
